Page Owner Tools and Reports makes it easy to find information and reports about the “Owned By” status of Pages in your Confluence. This is displayed at the top of every Page in the box highlighted in red below.

Page Owner Tools and Reports has three main features:
Changing the Owner of all Pages owned by one User to a different User (including from old deleted Users)
Generating a report of which Pages a User owns
Generating a report of who owns which Pages in a Space
Change the Owner of all Pages Owned by one User to a different User
You must be a Confluence Admin to be able to use this feature.
If you want to change the Page Owners of all pages owned by a user who has now been deleted or deactivated on your Confluence then follow the steps in Finding Old Users to make them available in the Current Owner (from) dropdown
In the Bulk Page Owner Update section you will be presented with two User selectors
Scroll or search within the Current Owner (from) dropdown and click on the user you want to transfer the ownership of all pages from.
Scroll or search within the New Owner (to) dropdown and click on the user you want to transfer the ownership of all the Pages Owned by the from User to.
Press the Change Page Owner for all Pages Owned by X to Y button
The processing of the Pages will begin from being Owned by the from User to being Owned by the to User. If you close or refresh the page while the processing is happening then not all pages will be updated to the new Owner.
Once processing is complete you will be presented with the following message. If there were any errors in updating the Owner for any of the pages then you will be informed of which pages errored.
Generating a report of which Pages a User owns
The Pages Owned By User report is available on either the Page Owner Tools and Reports main page or the Settings/Admin page
Either: a) Navigate to the Page Owner Tools and Reports main page by clicking on Apps in the top bar and then selecting Page Owner Tools and Reports
or b) Navigate to the Page Owner Tools and Reports Settings page
In the Pages Owned By User section you will be presented with a single User select dropdown
If you want to see which pages are Owned by users who have now been deleted or deactivated on your Confluence then follow the steps in Finding Old Users to make them available in the Get page details for User dropdown.
Scroll or search within the Get page details for User dropdown and click on the user you want to transfer the ownership of all pages from.
By default the Table will display the Page Title with a link to each page and the Space of each page. If you additionally would like the Last Updated Date of the Page and/or the Confluence Page Status in the results Table then click the appropriate Toggle button(s).
Press the Generate Report button
Once the report has finished generating you will be presented with a table with the appropriate columns. All columns are sortable and the table is paginated.
Generating a report of who owns which Pages in a Space
Page Owner Tools and Reports can generate a Space Report which shows you all Pages in a Space and their Owned by User. It can optionally also display the Confluence Page Status of the Page.

Once results have been returned you can press the “Download as a csv file” to download a csv file of the results, including the Page URL, Page Title and Owner Name. If the “Display Confluence Page Status” checkbox has been ticked then the csv will also contain the Page Status.
Navigating to Page Owner Tools and Reports Settings (Admin only)
Click on Apps in the top bar and then select Manage Apps
Under Settings on the left bar click Apps to expand it
Then click on Page Owner Tools and Reports Settings
Finding Old Users
If you want to use the Pages Owned By User or Bulk Page Owner Update sections for Users who are either deleted or deactivated on Confluence then you need to press the Find Old Users button in the Old User Finder section in order for the App to find these users who still are the Owners of Pages

This may take quite a long time depending on the number of Users and Pages you have.
Once these users have been found you will then be able to select them in the Get page details for User or Current Owner (from) dropdowns until you either close the page or refresh the page. After then you will have to generate them again.
These old Users will have generic names as personal information has been deleted, you can use the Pages Owned By User section to lookup which old Users own which pages before changing them using the Bulk Page Owner Update section
